Our recruitment process
Because we build careers at Henley, we love to make sure we find the right people for the role, so the recruitment process has been designed to take us from strangers, to colleagues - and hopefully friends.
Voicing the role
We like to know a little more about you than a tick-in-the-box form can gather, so our recruitment process is individually designed for each role to assess the suitability of every application that we receive. That means you can be confident that your skills, experience and education are applied and valued accordingly.
The first step in the recruitment process is your online application. To make it easy for you, there are a few simple questions you need to answer, then attach your resume and apply! Given we read each application to assess for the suitability of the role advertise, we encourage you to demonstrate specifically how you would be the best applicant. We’ll always reply via email to let you know we have received it and notify suitable candidates of successful progression
Nothing beats a quick hello, so if we like your application and think you fit the criteria, we’d love to have a 20 minute chat to tell you more about the role and recruitment process. We promise not to randomly call, we’ll arrange a time to talk to you. We’ll then notify successful applicants if you progress to the interview stage!
Valuable face time
Edgewater people are valued, trusted, invested in and appreciated, so we will have one or two personal interviews to make sure you’re the right fit for you and vice versa. We conduct behavioural interviewing as it allows us to determine how a candidate will perform their duties based on their prior behaviour in the workplace.
With behavioural questions you will need to structure your responses by specifically describing:
- The situation
- What action you undertook
- The result of your action
- This is as opposed to talking generally about what you typically do in a given situation.
There will also be job specific questions.

We are heavily invested in finding the right people for the Edgewater roles and while we’re sure we’d all get along and would love to call each and everyone, given the volume of applicants, unsuccessful candidates will be notified via email of their outcome.
